Date Night – Baking Competition

It’s a BAKING COMPETITION!! It’s ironic how whenever you’re trying to change your lifestyle to better eating and more exercise, that an idea like this would come to mind. I always like to think that a little competition in a relationship is a good thing. It pushes you to always try to be better. Not necessarily better than the other person, just better than who you were. Matt and I love watching The Great British Baking Show, so I thought it would be fun to reenact something similar in our own design.

That’s why I wanted to share this fun date night/family fun activity!! You can judge each other’s dessert or if you’re no longer in quarantine, invite some friends over and let them be the judges (don’t forget your masks). I promise no one will ever turn down free dessert!! It’s not January 1st anymore 😉

Any who, you could even do weekly themed competitions, just like in the show. Ideas that I could throw out there would be cake, pie, bread, cookie, cake pops, macarons, cupcakes, pudding or even a fried dessert.

Be as creative as you wish to be! The possibilities are endless. To make it more fun, post your desserts on Instagram and tag me, I can’t taste it but I would to judge the presentation & creativity or even just share the fun to my stories!!

To get the pdf version, just click Baking Competition Score-Card to download straight to your computer!! Print as many as you want!! Want to turn this into more than just a date night? Have your friends join in and meet up at someone’s house for everyone to judge!
